President Draupadi Murmu paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Hall in London on Sunday.She has arrived in the UK on a three-day tour.The Queen’s body is currently kept in Westminster Hall.President Draupadi Murmu signed a condolence book on behalf of the Government of India here.

President Murmu has also been invited to a reception hosted by King Charles II and Queen Consort Camilla for world leaders at Buckingham Palace on Sunday evening.
The ‘official state event’ is expected to be attended by all visiting heads of state and official foreign guests. Zaki Cooper, who served for Britain’s royal family from 2009 to 2012, believes the Queen had warm relations with India And they have played a key role in the journey from empire to commonwealth.
Cooper, who has written extensively about the monarchy, said, “They adopted the Commonwealth system to meet the aspirations of many countries for self-determination.” Commonwealth representatives will also attend the Queen’s funeral on Monday.
Westminster Hall will be closed to the general public a few hours before his funeral.
Westminster Abbey’s entrance will be opened to foreign dignitaries and guests at 8 a.m. local time on Monday.
The Dean of Westminster will perform the state funeral with Prime Minister Liz Truss and Commonwealth Secretary-General Baroness Patricia Scotland.Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden has also reached London to pay tribute to Queen Elizabeth II.
The Queen will be handed over at a private ceremony at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.Prior to this, the abbey had a state funeral in 1965 of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.
